Hearing the name Ecola Bible School, I cringed. Being in a state of rebellion, the option was far from appealing. And the fact that my parents encouraged it was even more reason for me not to go. Well, obviously, the good Lord changed my heart in an amazing way! A few months later I was born again and I chose to attend Ecola because my heart was yearning for change. I was hungry for God's Word and I was seeking an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. I wanted to be on the right path to becoming a godly woman. Ecola Bible School, in so many ways, has provided for me an incredibly firm foundation in the Lord. The teachers are open and obedient to the Lord's instruction, and reveal to us the powerful insight God has gifted them with. God has challenged and convicted me personally through these teachers who are also very dedicated to the concerns and questions of the students. Many memorable and many favorable activities are scheduled that contribute to those bonding times with friends. The relaxing atmosphere and breath-taking beauty of the Oregon Coast provide for many opportunities to have personal time, indoor or outdoor. Most of all, I've enjoyed the fun-loving and encouraging staff of Ecola Bible School. The energy, time, and hard work they put into the students reflects their sincere love for us and most of all their love for Jesus.
